Your Bridal Show Survival Guide: 8 Tips To Slay The Day
We know how it is going into a wedding expo or bridal show...it's OVERWHELMING. You want to be everywhere and also scream and run out at the same time.
To be real, these Shows really help to make your wedding planning life easier (and that is always our goal) because you have TONS of vendors, all in the same place. You get to see all the vendors you’ve been Pinterest-ing in real life and it can really help simplify the decision-making process!
As always, we like to be honest... so here are our top tips to have a FUN (and productive) time at the Show.
Before the Show:
Register ahead of time - this saves money and time when you arrive.
Create an email address specific to your wedding - this will help keep all your wedding information in one place and out of your personal inbox.
Make a vendor checklist - what type of vendors are a priority for you to see? This will help keep you focused.
At the Show:
Bring Reinforcements - whether it is your fiancé, best friend, or your mom- you’ll want to bring people to bounce ideas off of, help you make a decision, or just assist you with holding everything you receive.
Go to the cake tables first - just saying...you won’t want to miss those samples!
Stay focused - stick to the list you made and seek out the vendor information you know you need. This will help keep you from getting overwhelmed.
Get to know any vendors you are interested in - the vendors you hire are a part of one of the biggest days of your life, so you definitely want to get along with them! This is the perfect opportunity to chat with them and see if you vibe well.
After the show, grab a glass of wine and review your notes - this is the perfect time to treat your mom to dinner and thank her for spending the day talking to 15 different vendors with you. It’s also important to go over your notes and any information you received while it is fresh in your mind.
Most importantly - make sure you come by and say Hi to us! We will have a super cute booth for you to take photos in, and our team will be there to answer your questions, get to know you better and we may even have the occasional dance party.
